I'd have great success in creating "vanilla" install sets which are installable by
e.g. Hamburg QA no a variety of older distros by building in a Fedora Core 3 chroot
i.e. this script http://people.redhat.com/caolanm/ooocvs/makefc3chroot
to make one and then manually repeat the mount --bind lines and a
chroot /location/of/env and build away inside that. That's my solution,
your mileage may vary. The world of a Linux ISV is not easy :-)
