Looks like we might need a 
xalan.jar serializer.jar in the makefile.mk instead of xalan.jar
though as xalan.jar has a Class-Path entry in the manifest.mf this
should "just work", perhaps your version of gcj isn't following that
Class-Path directive and needs a bit of help.
