Correct too.
Perharps this adapter library should target simpler cases than "monsters" like
OpenOffice.org. For most applications, you don't need highly flexible file
choosers like the one OpenOffice.org uses.
In any case, the good place to discuss this issue is probably on the Open
Desktop mailing lists. They have already acheived standard "desktop files"
syntax, standard configuration options retrieval mechanisms, etc.
(...and don't forget the address book in the list ;-) )
